Fall Move and Meditate:  Shoulders, Neck and Back (8 weeks)

​

During fall, we often carry more load with busy schedules and more commitments.  We also spend more time driving, sitting, working and managing life on our devices.

 

We may also spend more time indoors as the weather changes, becoming more isolated and immobile. Stiffness, tension and pain may increase in our shoulders, neck and back.  

 

Through gentle movement, breath work and meditation, you will have an opportunity to let go of pain & tension in these areas, and welcome ease and mobility into your body, mind and spirit. 

 

*No yoga experience required*

Individual OT Yoga Sessions

Nurtured Guidance

​People often think to get out of pain, they need to do more.  What if I told you, you can do less and feel better?  What happens when we slow down and feel our movement?​

 

For example, when you are moving your shoulders - what else do you notice?  Are your hips clenching, jaw tensing, breath holding?  Do you notice patterns of tension or bracing during every day activities?  It’s easy to miss these subtle patterns when we are busy, moving fast and living our day to day lives that are often outwardly focused.  And guess what?  It’s all normal!  We carry load and get things done in the best way we know how.  Problems arise when our patterns lead to pain, tension, illness, long-term stress and exhaustion.   

​

Individual sessions are designed to be collaborative, gentle and will support your wellness goals.  By slowing down, feeling your movements and noticing your patterns, you will have an opportunity to grow better movement, develop more ease in your body & mind, and let go of what is no longer serving you.  

​

 

Your time is valuable.  Schedule or change your sessions through my easy online booking system when it works for you.  Sessions are available in-person or virtually.   Occupational Therapy may be reimbursed by insurance.

Join me for an engaging, fun and collaborative workshop which will provide your team real-life, effective tools to support their self-care and wellness.

 

  • 1 hour workshop includes movement, self-massage & relaxation/meditation 

  • 2 - 2.5 hour workshop includes movement, relaxation and a collaborative discussion about the states of our nervous system and how to support our regulation and well-being.​​

 

Workshops can be flexible to best support your team, your goals and your timeline.
